Endings & Beginnings

I didn't post yesterday because of the Crown & Coke, LOL, that's my story....And I'm stickin' to it. Went to the GP for a bit, played some pool, drank more than a few drinks, LOL. Went to Kelly and Shawn's house and played Trivial Pursuit, drank more beer, and listened to tunes. I left to walk home around ten, and managed to stagger to my place by midnight, LOL.

Went golfing today with Clint and Tim at Arbutus Ridge, and golfed the absolute shits. I can count on one hand the number of good shots I hit all day, my head just wasn't in the game. I didn't even break 100 LOL. No birdies, and only a couple of pars.

I have decided today is a good a day as any to quit my remaining vice, smoking weed. I had some personal stuff to work my way through the last half year or so, and it has helped me to cope with things. Now I think the time has come to reclaim that which is mine and comes from within me. I've had some trouble dealing with the issues at hand, but now I know what I've got to do. So, tonight at the witching hour, or sometime there abouts, I will remove the final obstacle to my fulfilling my potential.

Today is also an anniversary of sorts. It was one year ago today that I first saw Jeremy Fisher play live, at the Spiral Cafe. I was on an Internet date, one which you'll know all about if you know me at all. It was both the beginning and the ending of something beautiful. I have many memories which I will, over the course of time, remember fondly. And, it introduced me to a fabulous talent in Jeremy, who I've seen numerous times since.

The music playlist is now at 2738 songs with Good Charlotte's "Boys and Girls" currently playing.

Boys and Girls - Good Charlotte

Educated with money
He's well dressed not funny
And not much to say in most conversations
But he'll foot the bills in all situations
'Cause he pays for everything

Girls don't like boys, girls like cars and money
Boys will laugh at girls when they're not funny

Paper or plastic,
Don't matter she'll have it
Vacations and shopping sprees these are a few of her favorite things
She'll get what she wants if she's willing to please
His type of girl always comes with a fee
Hey now there's nothing for free

Girls don't like boys, girls like cars and money
Boys will laugh at girls when they're not funny
And these girls like these boys, like these boys like these girls
The girls with the bodies like boys with Ferraris
Girls don't like boys, girls like cars and money

Lets Go!

Girls don't like boys, girls like cars and money
Boys will laugh at girls when they're not funny
And these girls like these boys, like these boys like these girls
The girls with bodies like boys with Ferraris
Girls don't like boys, girls like cars and money

All of these boys, and all of these girls
Are losing their souls to a material world.

See you when I see you.
Baron
