Gibson's
Tuesday morning, very early morning, and I'm off to Gibson's Landing on the Sunshine Coast. It's a day of very little work for a lot of hours. I certainly wouldn't be up at three for any other reason LOL.
Discovered a new hike this weekend when some friends and I hiked up Mt Wells off Humpback Road. It's a steep, fairly physical climb, but once up at the top the view of the city is absolutely breathtaking. LOL, that reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where the doctor calls Elaine "breathtaking" LOL. Anyway, back to the hike. You can access Mt Wells by parking at the base of the old reservoir on Humpback Rd. Give it a try, you'll be glad you did.
Baseball season, at least the practice part of it, is in full swing. This season I'm plying my trade for both the Blueballers, in the Tudor House league, and the Lucky 7's in the Portland Charter league. Both teams are looking good, although it is still too early to tell. I'm happy with my bat so far, but it's hard to switch from golf to ball and back and still maintain a swing LOL.
Speaking of golf, my undefeated string took a bit of a shit-kicking last weekend LOL. Clint took me to town at Royal Oak, and then did the same thing yesterday after work at the TPC at Metchosin. I'm hitting the ball huge, just chipping and putting huge too LOL.
My truck is now sufficiently warm for the long trek. Time to hit the road.
See you when I see you.
