Crown and Coke (A Drunken Meander)

How long is "Too Long"? Why are we better off alone?
Is it all random, or predestined? How drunk am I ?
The booze is gone, and I'm drinking chai.
That was one dope, phat, sick rhyme. LOL.
Another month has slipped over the horizon.
Another month of peripheral existence.
Much like it has been since the day after my thirty-eighth birthday.
Living in the background, much like a movie stand-in.
Filling a seat in a restaurant scene, while the lead actors fill the screen.
Melodramatic......Oh...Woe.......Is ......Me........(Sympathy from the symphony plays)
Good 'ol Crown, washes all the memories down. Makes me do the nod LOL.
Once upon a time, not so long ago, I wasn't much in the way of drinking.
Life was abuzz with the possibility of possibilities. Happy birthday to me.
Now I'm going to totter off to bed. With no dreams I'll sleep sounder.
