Back From San Fran
Back in Canada again and man does it feel good! Don't get me wrong, the USA is a great place to visit, but.....
Many things have happened since I left, starting with the horrific events from London. I find it hard to believe sometimes that we humans can still show so much hatred to each other. These acts of violence create no solutions, only more violence. To kill in the name of God is such bullshit. As far as I can tell, and I'm no expert by any means, God does not accept killing. It is a cowardly act to kill someone, and in the long run it will accomplish little in forwarding the cause of the Iraqi people. As much as I disagree with American policy regarding Iraq, to leave now would open the country to a horrible bloody civil war. Why can't we all just live as one in peace?
Back to my trip, now that I've had my soapbox time. It was absolutely beautiful down in California. I was broken down in Yreka for a couple of days so I got to see a bit of the Shasta area. It almost feels like B.C. in some respects except it was stinkin' hot LOL. Not like all the rain I missed while I was gone. I didn't really see much of note, except for these lovely fields of sunflowers (my favorite flower) that went on for miles and miles. I took a few pictures and hopefully they will turn out.
It's midnight now and I'm jumping right back into the grind tomorrow morning. So, that's all folks.
See you when I see you.
