April Arrives
It's hard to believe, but April has already arrived. Ball practices are in full swing, no pun intended. This season I'm making up for not playing the last two years by playing for two teams. I'm on the Blueballers in the Tudor House league, and the Lucky 7's in the PCL. Both teams show potential, and the best part is there are no schedule conflicts as far as games go.
Work is still the same old, although there have been preliminary rumblings of raises for all in the near future. Yippee!!! Maybe somewhere tropical this fall LOL. Mexico here I come !!!
Saw an amazing movie this weekend called "Off the Map" starring Sam Elliott, Joan Allen, and Valentina de Angelis. It's a beautiful story about a family struggling to come to grips with the emotional draining of depression. Very well written and acted. If you can find it, it's well worth the value of the rental. One of the best movies I've seen in a while.
On the other side of the movie coin, I also saw "Domino" this weekend. If you like your action movies to be poorly acted with highly improbable scenarios, then this will be right up your alley. It had it's better moments, but all in all it was two hours wasted. I've got "The Constant Gardener" for tonight and I'm certainly hoping for better results.
See you when I see you.
