Not alot on a Wednesday.

Not much going on in Terrytown tonight. I've got the extended version of "Pirates" so that'll most likely be it. Work was work today so it'll be nice to just kick back and chill. I'm going to finish this and shut off the cyber-world for the evening. Right now I am listening to my song elimination playlist, which is down to number 662, "Alice's Restaurant" by Arlo Guthrie, the longest song on the entire playlist. My original plan when I started this post was to put the lyrics of the song that was playing when I posted, but this song is eighteen minutes long, so that ain't happening LOL. So, instead the next song to play is "Walk of Life" by Dire Straits

Walk of Life - Dire Straits

Here comes Johnny singing oldies, goldies
Be-Bop-A-Lula, Baby What I Say
Here comes Johnny singing I Got A Woman
Down in the tunnels, trying to make it pay
He got the action, he got the motion
Yeah, the boy can play
Dedication devotion
Turning all the night time into the day

He do the song about the sweet lovin' woman
He do the song about the knife
He do the walk, he do the walk of life

Here comes Johnny and he'll tell you a story
Hand me down my walkin' shoes
Here comes Johnny with the power and the glory
Backbeat the talkin' blues
He got the action, he got the motion
Yeah, the boy can play
Dedication devotion
Turning all the night time into the day

He do the song about the sweet lovin' woman
He do the song about the knife
He do the walk, he do the walk of life

Here comes Johnny singing oldies, goldies
Be-Bop-A-Lula, Baby What I Say
Here comes Johnny singing I Got A Woman
Down in the tunnels, trying to make it pay
He got the action, he got the motion
Yeah, the boy can play
Dedication devotion
Turning all the night time into the day

After all the violence and double talk
There's just a song in the trouble and the strife
You do the walk, you do the walk of life

See you when I see you.
