Christmas, etc.

Once again it's been a while since my last post. Procrastination, along with biggie busy, has kept me otherwise occupied. Here's what my fabulous existence has been up to the last couple of weeks.

Lots of hiking. Took Joshua to see King Kong. Christmas, sigh. Spent far too much for far too little. Kids got Gamecube, Lindsey got a goat. Well, she actually had a goat donated in her name through Ten Thousand Villages. It goes to a needy family in Uganda and that one goat can change a whole village. I think next year rather than give presents, I'm going to do the same thing in the names of all my kids.

Work is still work. Nothing more, nothing less LOL. I'm thinking more and more of just totally changing jobs and doing something new and challenging. Not sure what yet, but we'll see.

Hope you all had a great holiday season, and I wish you all nothing but peace and happiness in the new year.

See you when I see you.

Lost in Cyber-Space

Well, once again it's been awhile between posts. But I guess those of you still checking already know this LOL. Still without Internet or cable at home, and I'm finding this to be a good thing. I'm getting OUTSIDE more and seeing things that I would have missed.

There have been many hikes to many different areas, a lot of writing time, and definitely a lot of time for self-examination. The last one is something we all need to do but usually are loathe to, myself included. I am happy to announce after my search inside myself that I am fit for human consumption. LOL.

My new space has now been fully Terryized and feels like home. My own personal Feng Shui has been applied and it feels like I've been here for a while. It's bigger, brighter, and way, way cooler LOL.

My children are doing just great. We've got a Christmas concert at their school tomorrow night. They were over this weekend and we went for a long hike up at Caleb Pike in the Highlands. We also went to see "The Chronicles of Narnia; The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe" this weekend. Though I'm not familiar with the books, the movie was a visual treat with all sorts of mythical creatures. It was a pretty good story too.

Anyhow, I've rambled on enough. It's time to hop into my truck and head for a day on Pender Island. To all my friends who I never phone (You know how much I love the phone LOL), it's the holiday season so get in touch. I'd love to hear from you. I may even get my Internet at home again in the near future LOL, or maybe not.

If we don't connect before the holiday season, all the best to you and yours. Remember the reason for this season and take some time to do something good for someone. Smile at strangers. Keep your temper when your stuck in the never-ending lines LOL. Give what you can to those who have little. Christmas is about giving, so give with all your heart. Shalom.

See you when I see you.
