New Post

A new post.

Seeing as I've been neglecting my blog for a couple of weeks, I thought I'd treat you all to another fascinating look inside the secret life of Terry. I know you've all been waiting with baited breath to find out what super-fabulous things I've been doing with my life, and now here it is. S.F.A............LOL.

Actually it has been rather quiet in my little corner of the Universe. Doing a lot of golfing, both at the driving range and at actual courses. I've got to say my game sure looks better from the range rather than on a course. If only the courses were a couple of hundred yards wide LOL. And perfectly straight LOL. Seriously though, my drives are now averaging 280-300 yards, and for the most part they're straight. My short game is rapidly improving, but my putting is about as sorry as you can get. It's turning a great score into an average score LOL. At least I know what keeps me coming back.

Another sad note to pass along. Shawn Lambert, a great person and ball player I had the extreme pleasure of playing with for many years, passed away last week from brain cancer. He was an excellent sportsman and an even better human being. I feel richer for having known him and he will be greatly missed. I know he's batting clean-up and playing shortstop on the ultimate All-Star team now. "Salut" my friend, you'll be missed.

See you when I see you.

Party Time

Went out last night in celebration of my fortieth birthday. We ended up at a house in Langford with an acoustic jam upstairs and an electrical jam downstairs. Some excellent musicians once again!!! My throat is totally hoarse after singing with the electrical band for at least a couple of hours. Haven't sung like that in years!! It sounded tight, and I'm now looking forward to the next jam, next month. I'll post the date and venue when I get more information. I also drank far too many drinks and I'm paying for it big time today LOL. Between my throat, my head, and my stomach, I can't decide which is causing me the most grief today. Time to go back to bed LOL.

See you when I see you.
